Lockheed Martin invites applications for a Senior Manufacturing Robotics Engineer on the Second Shift to advance automation for missile production at our Troy facility. You will design, deploy, and optimize robotic systems, collaborating with design and operations teams to ensure safe, high‑quality output.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of robotics experience, plus security clearance eligibility and the ability to work a second shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field with 5+ years in factory automation/robotics.
• Experience integrating and supporting factory automation for industrial use.
• Willing to work second shift (Mon-Thu 15:30–02:00) and obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robotic and automation solutions for high‑mix missile production.
• Partner with designers, operations, and stakeholders to integrate robots, conveyors, vision, and controls.
• Lead lifecycle from concept to implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations, safety standards, and engineering requirements.
