Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electronics Technician to support manufacturing and testing of robotic systems.

You will lead complex diagnostics, repair, and upgrades, and provide technical input for work instructions and documentation on the production floor. The role requires 7–10 years of UxS experience, blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and MS Office. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure

Qualifications

7–10 years of UxS technical experience.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret part specifications.
In-depth knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5M-2009 and IPC standards for Electronics Manufacturing.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and MS Office; understanding of autopilots.

Responsibilities

Lead complex diagnostic and repair issues, optimize robotic systems, and set technical standards for robotics maintenance.
Train operators on proper use of production equipment.
Provide input for creation and maintenance of process documents (work instructions, control plans, visual standards).
Support new technology products across machine design, testing, automation, and assembly tasks on the production floor.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Quality teams.
