Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform routine mechanical or visual inspections of electronic and robotic assemblies in a team environment.

Training includes blueprint reading, GD&T, and platework, with emphasis on accurate data collection and adherence to safety and ISO procedures. You will work in a manufacturing setting with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, strong emphasis on on-site attendance, and potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
• Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.

Responsibilities

• Collect inspection data as directed by inspectors or supervision.
• Learn blueprint reading, GD&T, and platework from experienced staff.
• Contribute to inspection areas when training is provided.
• Communicate problems and training needs to supervision in writing and verbally.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow all Safety and ISO procedures.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.
• May work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
