SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Senior Robotic Systems Engineer to lead system-level design and integration for advanced robotic platforms.

The role requires steering architecture decisions, supervising testing, and ensuring compliance with defense and aerospace standards, with a focus on autonomy, sensor fusion, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience in robotic systems, strong MATLAB/Simulink and C++/Python skills, and the ability to mentor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or closely related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience leading system-level design, integration, testing, and validation of complex robotic platforms.
  • Master’s degree preferred; advanced coursework in robotics or system engineering is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system-level design and integration across robotic platforms, defining architecture and interfaces.
  • Oversee sensor and actuator integration, guide reviews and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate lifecycle management, including sustainment, upgrades and end-of-life planning.
  • Own system-level deliverables and lead design reviews, risk management and compliance.
  • Lead test planning and validation with HIL setups and MIL-STD verification.
  • Provide mentorship to engineers and foster cross-functional collaboration.
