H&H is seeking a team-focused, dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented Senior Roadway/Transportation Engineer to join our New Haven, Connecticut office and play a leadership role in the continued growth of our transportation practice. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary transportation engineering projects, support project delivery, provide technical quality assurance and quality control, mentor staff, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the Highway Group and H&H’s transportation services. • Manage, train, and mentor less experienced engineers in the production of plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Oversee construction support services, including the review of submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
• Assist with business development activities and proposal writing.
• Apply knowledge of the policies, procedures, and design standards of state and local transportation agencies.
• Assist with project scheduling and management of project financials.
