Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for major infrastructure projects. You will consult with project managers, apply design criteria, and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables.

The role involves coordinating with clients and teaming partners, developing scope and effort estimates, and guiding cross-disciplinary teams to meet project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 7+ years; PhD with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Responsible for discipline planning, work distribution, leadership, and adherence to schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget on complex projects.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the discipline.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinates technical aspects of the project with client counterparts and teaming partners.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects and works with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work for other disciplines on complex projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
