Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for diverse infrastructure projects. You will consult with the project manager to perform research, development, and delivery while mentoring junior staff to ensure timely project completion.

The role requires coordinating across multiple disciplines, developing conceptual and detailed designs, and delivering high-quality work within budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• PhD in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Assist with marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work within the discipline.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
