Job summary

Professional Staffing Services Group Inc. seeks a Roadway Engineer, PE in Longwood, FL with up to 10 years post-PE experience to lead roadway design projects for public clients.

The role requires a Florida PE license, ABET-accredited civil engineering degree, and proficiency in OpenRoads Designer; FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD knowledge is essential. Strong leadership and client coordination skills are expected.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college/university
• Licensed PE in Florida
• Up to 10 years post-PE registration experience
• Proficient in OpenRoads Designer
• Working knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD standards
• Florida DOT project experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual and final roadway/hwy/interchange design for public clients
• Develop horizontal/vertical geometry, plans, typical sections, and traffic plans
• Create project schedules and budgets for design efforts
• Serve as Task Lead coordinating with city, state, county officials and sub-consultants
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and estimates
• Supervise junior engineers and technical staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned
