Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) in Ocala, Florida, seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer / Project Manager to lead design of FDOT and local transportation projects. You will manage PS&E packages, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.

The ideal candidate has a PE in Florida, 10+ years of roadway design, and strong FDOT experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive roadway/highway design experience.
FDOT roadway design experience with FDOT standards and plans.
Experience with roadway geometric design and related disciplines.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer; CAD standards familiarity.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager or Roadway Design Lead for FDOT/local projects.
Oversee roadway design from concept through PS&E delivery.
Develop plans, specs, quantities, and supporting design documents.
Monitor budgets, schedules, and client expectations across projects.
Coordinate roadway design with drainage, structures, traffic, utilities, and more.
Mentor junior engineers and roadway design staff.
