Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Project Engineer to join a team delivering complex transportation projects for FDOT and local governments. You will coordinate and deliver projects from start-up to closeout, including roadway design, cost estimates, and public engagement.

The role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, schedule and budget adherence, and mentoring team members. FDOT experience and a PE license are preferred as you contribute to high-profile infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrates ability to plan, distribute discipline work, and manage schedule and budget.
• Proven capability to coordinate with clients and teaming partners and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work while meeting schedule and budget on projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of team’s work and guide to project objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects with clients and partners at staff level.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
