Job summary

GM2 Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated civil engineer with 4–10 years of experience and a PE license, preferably CT. The candidate will lead roadway and infrastructure design, ensure QA/QC, and mentor junior staff.

You will use MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD to develop plans, perform drainage and 3D modeling, and coordinate with CTDOT, clients, and contractors on transportation projects in Connecticut and the Northeast.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of relevant civil or transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; CT PE preferred.
• Experience with CTDOT design projects highly desirable.
• Strong QA/QC and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support roadway and infrastructure design projects with minimal oversight.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and project standards.
• Develop designs using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD.
• Perform drainage design and 3D modeling for roadway projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and CTDOT and agencies.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
