Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required; VA PE preferred.
- 10+ years of civil or transportation engineering experience.
- Experience with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) projects desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support roadway and infrastructure design projects with minimal oversight.
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and project standards.
- Develop designs using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD.
- Perform drainage design and 3D modeling for roadway projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and agencies, including CTDOT.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and schedule management.
