Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer Roadway Design to join the Florida team. The position supports offices in Lake Mary, Orlando, Jacksonville, and other Florida locations. You will design and manage roadway and drainage projects, lead production teams, and ensure conformance with FDOT standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of transportation roadway design experience, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a Florida P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering required.
• P.E. license in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of transportation roadway design experience.
• FDOT design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and post-design efforts on roadway and drainage plans.
• Engineer roadway and drainage design projects including tolled and non-tolled facilities.
• Lead production teams in roadway plan development.
• Prepare geometric analysis and establish design criteria and procedures.
• Review plans for conformance with scope and standards.
• May review and seal own projects.
• Interact with Stantec clients.
