Job summary

Stantec in Florida is seeking a Project Manager, PD&E to lead transportation planning and PD&E efforts across major arterial and highway projects. The role includes supervising a team, coordinating with leadership, and guiding schedules for transit and roadway studies across multiple Florida locations including Orlando, Lake Mary, Coral Gables, and Jacksonville.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in highway/roadway transportation planning, PD&E experience, and a Florida P.E.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering highway/roadway transportation planning and/or design experience.
• Experience managing all aspects of roadway infrastructure development including PD&E studies.
• Experience in successful project pursuits including client engagement and proposals.
• Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead a team on multiple assignments.
• Strong client interaction and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop transportation discipline teams on planning and PD&E projects.
• Drive client development, coordinate pursuits and proposal preparation.
• Serve as senior technical lead for concepts, reports, and studies.
• Build strong client relationships to support communities and career growth.
• Develop value-added solutions and lead contract pursuits for engineering services.
• Raise the company profile in transportation through professional organizations.
• Plan, execute, and supervise operations and business development.
• Supervise work of transportation professionals.
