Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer (PE) in Fort Worth, TX to lead the design and construction of transportation projects. TX PE license and 8+ years of roadway experience with DOT/municipal work are required, along with ORD/OpenRoads experience and strong leadership.

The role emphasizes project management, staff guidance, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes, with growth and ownership opportunities within Halff.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited civil engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• 8+ years in roadway project development for DOT/municipal work (TX preferred).
• OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and MicroStation CADD experience required.
• Ability to lead design teams, manage schedules and budgets, and interact with clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and construction of transportation projects from planning to delivery.
• Lead project scopes, budgets, schedules, and team coordination with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with subconsultants and internal teams to meet quality standards.
• Provide guidance to staff and ensure adherence to Halff and industry standards.
• Assist in proposals, RFQs, and business development activities.
