Job summary

Halff is actively seeking a Project Manager (PE) to join our Transportation/Roadway team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate holds a Texas PE license and has substantial roadway design and leadership experience, managing projects from planning through delivery for DOT and municipal clients.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, oversee budgets and schedules, mentor staff, and contribute to proposals and business development, while ensuring high-quality results across Texas transportation

Qualifications

• Texas PE license is required.
• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree is required.
• 8+ years of roadway project development experience; TXDOT/municipal projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway/transportation design projects from planning through delivery.
• Oversee scope, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Mentor engineers and support staff; ensure design quality and client satisfaction.
• Develop proposals, RFQs, and support business development.
