Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to lead roadway projects from conception to completion. You will design, analyze, and oversee roadways ensuring compliance with NCDOT standards while collaborating with agencies and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires extensive roadway experience, NC P.E. licensure, and proficiency with civil design tools such as Civil 3D and OpenRoad Designer. A MSCE is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• P.E. licensure in North Carolina required.
• Extensive roadway engineering experience with NC DOT standards.
• Experience with ORD/plan development a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze roadways for new constructions, widenings and rehab.
• Lead roadway design projects per NCDOT requirements.
• Coordinate with agencies for approvals and reviews.
• Review design plans from subcontractors; ensure budget and schedules.
