Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to provide administrative and clinical supervision to nursing staff on two or more units, ensuring coordinated inpatient psychiatric services.

Responsibilities include staff training, scheduling, delegation, liaison with department directors, and performing direct patient care in the nursing role in collaboration with physicians and other managers.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA requirements; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to all nursing staff and technicians on two or more units.
• Liaise with department directors and hospital administration to ensure coordinated operations.
• Oversee training, staff scheduling, and delegation of duties.
