Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications safely with proper rights and documentation.
• Collaborate with the health care team; provide precepting and staff guidance.
• Maintain compliance with nursing practice acts and hospital policies.
• Document thoroughly in patient care records and communicate hand-offs on shift changes.
