Job summary

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emeritus (RN-E) to support the department through servant leadership and expert nursing practice. This per diem role has an expectation of 16 hours per quarter and may be assigned to clinical, educational, or nursing leadership tracks.

Essential duties include mentoring nurses in new roles, supporting quality audits, leading education initiatives, and providing emergency response support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred for leadership tracks.
• Current MA nursing license and BLS certification required; specialty cert preferred.
• Self-directed with strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Mentor nurses in new roles and support preceptor functions.
• Contribute to unit-based projects and quality initiatives.
• Provide education and coaching; support emergency response and safety rounds.
