Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emeritus (RN-E) for a per diem role in Boston. The RN-E provides leadership, mentoring, and expert nursing care with up to 16 hours per quarter across clinical or leadership tracks.
The role requires a nursing leadership mindset, strong assessment skills, and a MA nursing license with BLS; master’s degrees and specialty certifications are preferred. Per diem flexibility and engagement in quality initiatives are included.

The Registered Nurse - Emeritus (RN-E) supports the work of the Department through servant leadership and demonstrated expertise. As a recognized clinical, educational, or nursing leadership expert, the RN-E demonstrates sound assessment and critical reasoning skills and consistently models high standards of nursing practice and professional accountability. The RN-E confers accumulated knowledge and expertise to less experienced colleagues by creating a psychologically-safe environment conducive to ongoing professional learning. This is a per diem position with an expectation of 16 hours per quarter. An RN-E may be assigned to clinical, educational, or nursing leadership tracks.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Self-directed nursing professional with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Proficient with technology commensurate with role, i.e., EPIC; Word; PowerPoint; Excel.
Experience: Minimum 10 years nursing experience; one year at LHMC strongly preferred.
Pay Range:
$85.00 - $85.00
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
