Qualifications

• BSN preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred but not always required.
• Current Nevada RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery leadership/charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admitting and discharge processes for throughput and quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Schedules staff and manages labor according to productivity guidelines.
