Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all unit functions during the designated shift.

In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care while supporting staff development and the organization’s mission and values to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timeframes.
• RN with active Texas license and Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years in an acute Labor and Delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and quality patient care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create a teamwork-focused environment for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when needed.
• Manages staff scheduling to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Assists with inventory control and supplies/equipment management.
