Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to oversee patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations during shifts. The CNC collaborates with the management team to supervise nursing care and model the organization’s mission and values for exceptional patient outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in Nevada, BCLS/ACLS, and ICU experience in cardiovascular care, with leadership experience highly desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current and active Nevada RN license.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience in ICU with cardiovascular/cardiac care background
• Charge/Relief Charge/Nursing leadership experience highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit with management.
• Collaborate with experts and managers to foster teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to boost engagement, including hourly rounds and staff rounding.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff; support performance evaluations and actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and equipment management.
