Citi in New York seeks a Director of Structuring for Non-Agency RMBS, leading end-to-end deal structuring and cash-flow modeling. You will work with Intex Deal Maker, manage rating agency interactions, and guide junior colleagues while ensuring robust risk controls and compliance.

The role requires 6+ years in structured finance, advanced Intex proficiency, and a strong finance, math, or engineering background; Series 7/79/63 licenses are expected or pursued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in structured finance.
• Advanced proficiency with Intex Deal Maker is required.
• Deep understanding of Rating Agency methodologies.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Licenses: Series 7, 79 and 63.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end structuring for Non-Agency RMBS transactions.
• Create, modify and reverse engineer cash-flow waterfalls and ensure structural accuracy.
• Use Intex Deal Maker to model deal structures and run stress tests.
• Coordinate with rating agencies and defend structural assumptions.
• Ensure documentation aligns with outputs and manage junior staff.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and firm policies.
