Job summary

Pareto is seeking an experienced engineer to own RL environments end-to-end, from problem scoping to production health. You will collaborate with researchers and Pareto's engineering team to ensure fast, reliable training signals.

In this role you will build, ship, and maintain containerized services, using Python or TypeScript, with cloud and CI tooling. You will influence product direction by feeding insights into the roadmap.

Qualifications

• You write production Python or TypeScript; strong functional-language background appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end RL environments and MCP tools for frontier labs.
• Scope training goals with researchers, turning them into buildable specs.
• Maintain production health; investigate failed tasks and deployments.
• Leverage platform with automated image builds, release notes, and CI gates.
• Provide signal back into product and help roadmap when gaps arise.
