Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Riverbed Systems Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for Riverbed platforms in government environments. You will design, implement, and optimize secure monitoring architectures across multiple enclaves, ensuring compliance and high availability.

You will analyze performance, lead incident response, and collaborate with Cyber, Network, and Application teams. A TS/SCI clearance is required; candidates with DoD experience will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Network Performance Monitoring (NPM).
• Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and REST API integrations and SQL databases.
• Experience using enterprise tools such as Splunk or ServiceNow.
• Experience providing multi-enclave architecture support including NIPR and SIPR.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of TCP, IP, SNMP, NetFlow, and sFlow.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
• Advanced Level IAT Level II Compliant Certification and DoW 8140 compliant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Riverbed monitoring architectures across NIPR, SIPR, and SOCRATES enclaves.
• Engineer scalable deployments supporting hybrid, virtual, and physical infrastructures.
• Integrate Riverbed tools with SIEM, ITSM, cybersecurity, and enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Provide Tier II and III engineering support and root cause analysis.
• Perform software upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery validation.
• Maintain RBAC and auditing policies; support change control boards.
