Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Riverbed Engineer to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. The senior technical authority will manage Riverbed monitoring, NPM, and performance optimization across DoD mission systems in secure enclaves.

You will lead design, deployment, and integration across NIPR/SIPR/SOCRATES, mentor staff, and coordinate with cyber, networks, and applications teams. Requires active Top Secret/TS-SCI clearance and DoD compliance capabilities.

• Riverbed experience required and familiarity with monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Engineering: design secure Riverbed monitoring architectures across enclaves and develop system documentation.
• Operations & Administration: provide Tier II/III support, manage configuration, health monitoring, and DR validation.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: analyze performance trends and generate executive dashboards to drive improvements.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: maintain DoD cybersecurity standards and coordinate vulnerability scans and patch cycles.
• Documentation & Reporting: create SOPs, diagrams, and runbooks and brief leadership on health and risk.
