Job summary

First American seeks a senior Risk Management leader to drive programs across mortgage servicing risk controls and regulatory compliance. You will analyze operations, document workflows, and collaborate with senior management to improve processes and controls.

You will guide incident, operational, and compliance risk efforts, develop scorecards, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders, while supporting ongoing process improvements and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage origination and servicing.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory risk controls and practices.
• Ability to build workflows and document business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Leads risk management programs and manages department processes.
• Analyzes and documents detailed process workflows via interviews and workshops.
• Develops resolutions to critical issues and complex design matters.
• Manages risk tools and governance across risk areas.
• Provides proactive input to improve processes and mitigate risks.
