Job summary

Pharos Administrative Services is seeking a Director of Risk & Safety to lead safety, risk management, and workers' compensation programs across multiple skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Colorado. The role focuses on reducing injuries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include developing organization-wide safety programs, leading safety committees, and partnering with facility leaders to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Progressive experience in workplace safety, risk management, or workers' compensation.
• Experience managing safety and workers' compensation programs across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety requirements and injury prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees safety, risk, and loss prevention strategy across multiple facilities.
• Establishes policies and programs to promote a strong safety culture.
• Leads OSHA compliance, claims management, and incident investigations.
• Partners with leadership to implement corrective actions and improve safety performance.
• Supports travel to facility locations for assessments and training.
