Job summary

Pipeline Health is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead risk, patient safety, and regulatory programs across its facilities. The role involves developing risk management and patient safety plans, administering culture surveys, analyzing data, and guiding improvements.

Frequent travel between Pipeline Health facilities is required, with a focus on improving patient care and compliance. The role reports to executive leadership and requires a minimum of five years in healthcare

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare administration with specific experience in healthcare risk management, patient safety, and regulatory management.
• Ability to obtain Risk Management certification within one year, if not already obtained.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with executive team.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains an organizational risk management plan.
• Develops, implements and maintains an organizational patient safety plan.
• Administers a nationally approved survey on patient safety culture at least once every 12 months.
• Analyzes data to identify undesirable care and trends to assess safety of care.
• Leads performance improvement initiatives across departments.
