Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced Risk Director to lead our facility's risk management program and promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will oversee incident investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with departments to mitigate risks and reduce liability.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a focus on proactive risk reduction across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in risk management.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with CARF, DEA, Joint Commission, or CMS surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management program across the facility.
• Collaborate with corporate risk management department.
• Lead investigations and analyze risks; coordinate with Legal for liability assessments.
• Develop and implement patient safety infrastructures and systems.
• Promote a culture of safety and encourage incident reporting.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify high-risk areas and provide staff training on risk mitigation.
• Review complaints with Patient Advocate to identify exposures.
• Lead Safety Committee and drive measurable safety initiatives.
