Job summary

Acadia Healthcare seeks an experienced Risk Director to lead the facility's risk management program, overseeing incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk mitigation to protect patients, staff and visitors. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare, risk management, business, finance, or related field required.
• Two or more years' experience in a risk management position required.
• One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with CARF, DEA, Joint Commission, or CMS surveys, as required by service line(s) supported.

Responsibilities

• Implement a robust risk management program throughout the facility.
• Lead investigations and analyze actual and potential risks in the facility; collaborate with Legal to assess liability.
• Develop and implement infrastructures and systems that support patient safety.
• Promote a culture of safety by encouraging incident reporting.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with QAPI disciplines to complete Root Cause Analysis for events.
• Establish and lead a Safety Committee that develops measurable safety initiatives.
