Job summary

ICW Group, a long-standing insurer, seeks a field-based risk management professional. You will conduct risk research, identify exposures, and visit policyholders across industries from a home base with travel within North Carolina and South Carolina.

The role combines field work with remote office duties. You will identify key risks, develop corrective action plans, and collaborate with underwriting and claims to present service proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Risk Management, STEM, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in Risk Management or Safety.
• Property surveys and liability risk experience preferred.
• Certifications such as ARM, CSP, CIH, CPCU preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify WC, property, and/or liability risks for accounts.
• Schedule surveys and account service plans within SOPs to identify risk factors.
• Mitigate risk with corrective actions and formal service plans.
• Collaborate with underwriting and claims to develop service proposals.
• Perform accident investigations as needed to support claims and underwriting.
• Deliver risk management services to mitigate exposure and claim costs.
