Job summary

Amerisure Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Risk Management/Loss Control Consultant to conduct risk assessments, develop risk management programs, and support strategic initiatives across policyholders and agencies. This field-based role sits remotely in the Raleigh/Durham area or Greensboro/Winston-Salem, NC with hybrid work options.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in risk management or safety, a bachelor’s in a related field, and advanced certifications (CSP/ARM/CRM/CPCU).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field; advanced certification/designation preferred (CSP/ARM/CRM/CIC/CPCU).
• 5+ years of experience in safety, risk management or related industry.
• Strong skills with MS Office and virtual meeting/conferencing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build relationships across departments and with external customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 3 overnights per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk management surveys at policyholders’ premises and develop program recommendations.
• Leverage technology to support hybrid/remote engagement with policyholders and agencies.
• Provide resources on risk management topics to policyholders and agency customers.
• Analyze data to drive customer service objectives and improve risk exposures.
• Collaborate with underwriting and claims for new business and account retention; mentor other consultants.
