As BSA Officer, you will oversee CTRs/SARs reporting, risk assessments, fraud prevention, and regulatory examinations, while partnering across departments to embed risk in product and service decisions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, BSA/AML, fraud, compliance, financial services, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations pertaining to Risk Management, BSA/AML, OFAC, fraud prevention.
• Strong strategic, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, assess risk, determine root causes, and develop practical recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound business judgment, translate complex risk information into business implications, and prioritize competing risks based on organizational impact.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-development skills, including coaching, performance management, accountability, collaboration, influence, and strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and operational leadership over Zeal Credit Union's Risk Management and BSA functions.
• Serve as the designated BSA Officer with oversight of CTRs, SARs, and related compliance programs.
• Oversee annual risk assessments, update policies, and ensure regulatory reporting timelines.
• Develop fraud-prevention strategies and investigative frameworks to mitigate threats.
• Collaborate across departments to embed risk considerations in products, services, and vendors.
• Lead regulatory examinations and coordinate responses with law enforcement and auditors.
• Coach and develop the risk team and promote a culture of risk awareness.
