Job summary

GEI Consultants seeks a Senior Risk Manager to join its Risk Management Team. You will identify and manage project, contract, and execution risks, coordinating with Corporate Counsel and the Director of Risk Management.

With 15+ years in risk, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution in the A/E/C sector, you will implement proactive risk controls, work with insurance brokers, and support the risk committee to strengthen GEI's risk posture while fostering a collaborative, client-centered

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in risk management, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution in the A/E/C industry.
• Strong understanding of contract terms, risk mitigation, and execution risks.

Responsibilities

• Track external trends, benchmarks, and industry best practices in risk management for A/E/C.
• Negotiate contracts and business terms with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate project, contract, and execution risks with proactive plans.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers and underwriters to satisfy insurance requirements.
• Work with GEI’s Risk Committee to implement policies and training.
• Assist project managers and senior management in resolving contractual issues promptly.
