Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Risk Manager in Enterprise Risk Management to lead risk projects, guide risk assessments, and drive improvements across the Change Governance program. You will collaborate with executives, manage a team of Risk Specialists, and deliver robust risk solutions with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience.
• At least 3 years of risk management experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• PMP Certification or Master's Certificate of Project Management (CPM) preferred.
• Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise and guide users on the change-based risk assessment program (e.g., LAUNCH).
• Solve complex problems during change governance activities.
• Monitor Slack and host office hours; respond to user needs.
• Host frequent check-ins with key stakeholders from each LOB.
• Identify bugs and blockers; collaborate on fixes and enhancements.
• Provide LOB-specific metrics and commentary for ERM reporting.
• Ensure completion of Post Implementation Reviews; maintain documentation.
• Oversee AI Oversight to ensure risk classification accuracy.
