Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Risk Manager in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to lead risk governance initiatives and drive the LAUNCH-based risk program across lines of business in Riverwoods, IL. You will partner with executives to identify risks and implement innovative risk solutions to maintain capital stability and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Military experience required.
At least 3 years of risk management experience.
At least 5 years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

Advise and guide users on the change-based risk assessment program (e.g., LAUNCH) and methodologies.
Solve complex problems during critical change governance activities.
Monitor Slack and host office hours; respond to user needs.
Conduct regular stakeholder check-ins with each LOB on metrics and QA findings.
Identify bugs and coordinate fixes with methodology owners.
Provide LOB-specific risk metrics and ERM reporting commentary.
Ensure Post Implementation Reviews are completed for each LOB.
Maintain documentation of ERM challenge and escalation activities.
