Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Risk Advisor to provide audit and advisory services across organizational risks and controls. You will partner with management to strengthen processes and internal controls, applying COSO framework and delivering high-quality audit reports.

Responsibilities include leading walkthroughs, identifying risk gaps, and developing remediation plans while guiding management on control enhancements and governance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field; 7+ years if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist Audit Manager in audit/advisory engagements.
• Use COSO to design and monitor entity-level controls.
• Analyze processes to identify risks and improvements.
• Document processes, risks, controls, and testing procedures.
• Provide training and guidance on risk and controls.
• Perform ad-hoc audits and report findings.
• Develop corrective action plans and verify remediation.
