Job summary

You will provide leadership and independent oversight of policies, limits, and committees to align with corporate strategy.

The role requires 10+ years in financial services or risk management, a bachelor's degree, strong communication and analytical skills, and experience building governance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications or equivalent education.
• 10+ years of financial services or risk management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills across all levels.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical, cognitive, conceptual, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Strong planning ability with sound judgment and decision-making.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in governance frameworks and systems for prioritizing, structuring, reviewing and approving governance materials.
• Coordinate and oversee policies, limits, and committees to drive governance structures and risk management.
• Lead cross-unit collaboration to implement a multi-level governance document structure and inventory.
• Assist Head of Policy Management and Governance in developing risk governance policies and procedures.
• Identify and monitor risk governance exceptions, issues and trends across units.
• Support enterprise-wide governance system(s) of record through collaboration with partners.
• Develop and deliver risk governance trainings and communications.
• Participate in ongoing monitoring and quality assurance activities of governance processes.
