Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Risk Leader in Charlotte, NC to guide risk management across the assigned business unit, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and policies. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Audit, and regulators to drive effective risk governance and remediation strategies.

The role requires deep experience in real estate lending risk, leadership of risk professionals, and the ability to influence senior management while fostering a strong risk culture within Truist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Risk field required.
• 15+ years of risk management experience in banking or financial services.
• 10+ years Real Estate Lending (mortgage/HELOC) experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CSBB and Enterprise risk teams to execute against strategic risk management goals and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain communication with risk teams regarding activities, trends, and events in Risk, Regulatory, Audit, Compliance and Loan Review.
