Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a Principal Associate to lead risk event and issue management for Premium Products & Experiences and Capital One Shopping. You will guide partners through scoping, register breakdowns in Fuse, and ensure timely containment and remediation with a focus on process excellence.

Responsibilities include managing the event lifecycle, coordinating with Risk Advisors, Legal and Compliance, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement, including

• At least 2 years of experience in operations, risk management, compliance, or audit.
• At least 2 years of experience in process management, project management, or relationship management.
• Preferred: 3+ years in operations, risk management, or audits; risk event and issue management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Event and Issue lifecycle, including timely scoping of breakdowns and record creation in Fuse.
• Partner with Risk Advisors and Legal and Compliance to understand risk exposure and provide guidance on containment and remediation.
• Guide business partners through root cause analysis to ensure breakdowns are fully understood and address persistent issues.
