Job summary

Truist seeks a Risk Data and Reporting Senior Analyst I to support the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the Risk Appetite Framework in the United States. The role partners with Risk Type Owners and other stakeholders to implement program requirements, maintain documentation, and contribute to governance improvements.

Essential duties include designing complex risk reports, investigating data variations, developing controls, and leading small projects while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and governance.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and competitive landscape.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex information.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute complex risk reports and analyses.
• Investigate variations in reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop controls to ensure data and process integrity.
• Assist with departmental documentation and governance materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify objectives and scope requirements.
• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources.
• Mentor teammates with less experience.
