Truist Financial Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Risk Data and Reporting Senior Analyst I to support the Risk Appetite Framework, annual reviews, and governance processes. You will partner with Risk Type Owners and stakeholders to implement program requirements and improve risk reporting and data quality.

Risk Data and Reporting Senior Analyst I supports the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the Risk Appetite Framework, including coordination of Annual Review and change management activities. The role partners with Risk Type Owners and other Risk Measurement Program (RMP) stakeholders to support implementation of program requirements, maintain program documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of risk appetite governance processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls.

Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.

Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes.

Assist with development of departmental documentation.

Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.

Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.

Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.). Understanding of foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
• Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
• Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
• Ability to lead small projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in related field
• 7+ years of related experience
• Experience supporting enterprise risk management, risk appetite, risk governance, compliance, audit, or other enterprise-wide governance programs.
• Experience preparing reports, presentations, analyses, or governance materials for management committees or senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate information, identify themes and trends, and develop practical recommendations.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably within financial services.
