Job summary

AustralianSuper is seeking a Senior Associate, Compliance & Operational Risk for our New York office. You will lead the continued uplift and embedding of the Fund’s risk framework, partnering with the Risk team to drive governance, controls, and US-wide operational risk improvements.

The role is based on-site in NYC with a 12-month fixed-term contract and global collaboration across markets. We value strong analytical abilities, risk knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, articulate and persuasive skills who can support team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that articulate the risk and control environment for different levels across the Fund.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and embedding of the uplifted risk management framework.
• Identify, source and monitor Key Risk Indicators to support Risk evaluations.
• Review of control design and operating effectiveness to support mitigation of identified risks.
• Contribute to continued improvement of the risk management framework.
• Manage key data inputs and outputs from GRC.
