Job summary

AustralianSuper Pty Ltd in New York City is seeking a Senior Associate, Enterprise Risk to support risk, compliance and assurance for the US business. The role embeds the revised risk framework and collaborates with First Line Risk to ensure risk is managed within appetite.

The 12-month, full-time contract is on-site with a hybrid work schedule at 1251 Avenue of the Americas. Strong risk leadership and governance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk management and assurance experience.
• Strong understanding of control design and operating effectiveness.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical and investigative skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to respectfully challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hold accreditation in Risk Management or be willing to obtain one after joining AustralianSuper.

Responsibilities

• Embed the uplifted risk management framework, participate in RCSA, design and implement reporting templates.
• Lead Second Line risk & compliance oversight for US Operations, including testing and governance reviews.
• Oversee updates to regulatory obligations and ensure controls and policies are in place.
• Contribute to governance reporting for the US Board and senior committees.
• Assist Internal Audit with scoping reviews and coordinate ad hoc projects.
