Job summary

Petco is seeking a seasoned Risk Management professional to build and maintain risk reporting for leadership and partners. The role emphasizes data accuracy, dashboards, and renewal-cycle preparation, with strong Excel and BI tool usage.

You will own SharePoint resources, streamline recurring processes, and collaborate across teams to protect assets and support the business in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years in risk management, insurance, claims, or analytics support.
• Advanced Excel (pivot, lookups, large datasets) required; experience with BI tools preferred.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau or comparable tools preferred.
• ARM or progress toward insurance designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and distribute risk and claims reporting dashboards for leadership and partners.
• Track retained/out-of-pocket losses and report totals on a defined cadence.
• Prepare renewal data packages: statements of values, payroll, revenue, fleet schedules, store counts.
• Support subrogation by assembling loss docs and tracking recovery status.
• Assemble data for actuarial reviews, allocations, and audit requests.
• Lead design and maintenance of the team SharePoint site and resources.
• Document and improve recurring risk processes and SOPs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
