Job summary

Petco is seeking a Senior Analyst in Pet Services to drive operational and services strategy through advanced analytics. You will lead end-to-end projects, work with large data sets, and inform business hypotheses with data-driven insights.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of analytics experience, strong SQL (Snowflake) skills, and proficiency in Python or R, plus BI visualization expertise. Based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics or related analytics discipline.
• 3-5 years’ experience in business analytics; retail experience preferred.
• Proficient with SQL (Snowflake) and Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization BI tools.
• Able to explain analytical methods to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, synthesize, and present data for actionable insights.
• Improve hospital site selection with predictive models and KPI scorecards.
• Oversee end-to-end hospital expansion data & list management.
• Support business development with data-driven diligence and integration insights.
• Develop and test new data sources and model enhancements.
• Present strategic recommendations addressing key business questions.
• Communicate findings to varied audiences clearly.
