Edward Jones invites applications for a Senior Risk and Control Associate within the WMFM 1st Line Risk Team. This role is hands-on, focusing on risk execution, change management, and partnership with Enterprise Risk Management to strengthen controls across the Wealth Management and Field Management organization.

The position emphasizes collaboration with senior leadership, practical risk mitigation, and ongoing process improvement to safeguard the firm and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of risk management and/or change management experience.
• Experience leading multiple initiatives or projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• FINRA Series 7 license or obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Partner with ERM stakeholders to stay informed on initiatives and lead change management and communication plans.
• Prepare monthly status reports for governance meetings with progress, impacts and resourcing.
• Maintain training inventories and onboarding materials for the risk team and process owners.
• Own the Third-Party Tools risk program and assess WMFM tools.
• Develop and execute the WMFM Strategy Risk program with alignment to future standards.
• Provide leadership with insights for risk forums and escalate emerging risks.
• Support divisional leaders and associates as needed.
• Roll out ERM policies and standards to WMFM as needed.
